LeBron's 4th Quarter Hightlight Reel

I guess Greg Doyle was onto something when he asked LeBron why he has been disappearing in the 4th. I'm watching this game last night and I find myself squinting at the TV.."Am I missing something? Where is LeBron? Is he in the game?" He was...barely. 8 points in the entire game, 0 in the 4th. LeBron, you can't EVER be considered the greatest when your talents dissipate at the end of the game the way that they did in Game 4. Is he still better than Jordan? That one was for you Scottie--LBJ has gone 3-12 in the 4th quarter this series, a painful stat if your a Heat fan or if you were one of these people that claimed this wasn't Wade's team. Wade scored 32 btw...I'm thinking the newest NBA Finals talking ball commercial is going to be a basketball in the middle of the court screaming "LeBron! WHERE ARE YOU?!"

Tell the Fat Lady to Put Down Her Microphone...

...Since going to the 2-3-2 format 11 of the 11 teams that have won game 3 in a series tied 1-1 has gone on to win the NBA Finals. Furthermore, the team that wins game one goes on to win the NBA Finals 73% of the time. Not to mention, overall the Miami Heat are out playing the Dallas Mavericks for about 40 minutes each game. I still have an inclination that the Mavericks will win this series, or at least push it to seven games. Take game 2 for example; I all but fell asleep, as did most of the country because the Mavs were getting pounded by 20 late. During my slumber they found a way to battle back with gritty defense, help from their bench, and a red-hot Dirk Nowitzki. Miami is good but they are not great yet and they have shown that they can take their foot off the pedal. So, before we write off Dallas lets remember this is a 7 game series and it might take all 7 games to tell us who the better basketball team is.

The Big Finish

At the age of 39 The Big Diesel is hanging up his size 76 shoe, putting down his mic, and handing in his badge. Shaq was a larger than life mega-star who will be remembered for a litany of things...NBA titles, MVP's, playing for several teams, Kazaam, feuding with Kobe, and so on. But the thing I will remember the most about Shactus was his incredible rap album. I'm not even sure I'm being sarcastic. Of course for years I thought Shaq Diesel rapping was a joke, I mean come on, the title of his first album was Shaq-Fu. However, after doing some research for the show today I stumbled upon some old Shaq songs and to be honest...they're not that bad. So, without further adieu, here is one of my favs from Shaq-Fu Panda. Enjoy!

Ho-Grant To The Rescue

After hearing Scottie Pippen's comment about LeBron being better than Jordan, former teammate Horace Grant says without saying 'that dude's crazy'! Horace adds that Jordan was the greatest in his era and made everyone better and was pretty much hinting at the fact that without Jordan NO ONE on that team would have had the career that they did...and I agree. Maybe we should start drug testing retired basketball players.
